'Clancy'

1st October, 1989 - January, 2000

'One of only three bitches in a litter ex A/NZ Ch Maketawa Wind Chimes (NZ) by Ch Clanach Wrath OKhan (iid UK) her excellent breed type, balance and soundness along with her pretty tan markings, caused quite a stir in the show ring and many a head to turn outside the ring. She took top honours on a number of occasions which included -

3 times she was a contestant at the ACTCA Contest of Champions, she was and still is the only Springer ever to qualify and attend the contest.

She was the first Springer bitch with over 1000 points to get that final CC required for Grand Championship status, although there were probably quite a few who had the 1000 points but did not have the opportunity to compete for the final CC.

As her breeders David and I were extremely proud of her wins, but the one that stands out for me was the Reserve in Show at the 1995 Victorain Specialty behind her half sister Ch Wongan Dynasty. She was on fire that day and really pulled out all stops.

Motherhood was perhaps not her scene, she preferred to be career woman or perhaps a lady leisure, from her only litter of four puppies two obtained their show titles Ch Coranderrk Cullinan (Meaghan O'Shannassy - ACT) and Ch Coranerrk Argyle Gem (Crowe - WA).

'Culli'

2nd January, 1994 - 30th August, 2003

Proudly owned and exhibited by Fiona's sister Meaghan O'Shannassy, Culli definitely lived up to the fact that 'Diamonds are a girls best friend' - A consistent achiever at all breeds and specialty level, Culli was a dog who had a real zest for life. He enjoyed the showring and was well known for his constant bouncing off all four feet when waiting for his class, and as one person commented - 'He was truly a Springer.'!

Paris is from a litter of achievers including Gr Ch Wongan Jazzman and Ch Wongan That's Jazz, Paris is our quiet achiever. She is a Best in Group and multi RUBIG winner and was a consistent achiever at all breeds and specialty level, she was Res CC at the 1995 Melbourne Royal.

Foster is owned by and lives with Chris Motbey, although in the past he was co-owned by Chris and Fiona. Foster is a multi Specialty Class winner and an All Breeds Best in Show winner. Chris was in charge of the brains department and worked hard with Foster to achieve his Companion Dog Title, this award meant Foster was eligible for a Bronze Dunbar Medallion presented by the ACT Canine Association, to our knowledge Foster and his clever daughter Ch Sonza Best Vintage CD are the only English Springers in the ACT to achieve this prestigious award. We feel proud and privileged to have had the opportunity to have been a part of Foster’s significant show career, and thank our good friends Steve and Jackie Wraith (Beautelle ESS) for their faith and trust in allowing us to be a part of Foster’s successful show career.

'Veronica'

1994 - September, 2006

Veronica is a multi Specialty class winner and the only Springer in Australia to have a show and field title. We are also very proud of her achievments as a producer of champion stock which produces champion stock, for both ourselves and other breeders. Veronica's clever children include the spaniel Specialty BIS winner, Aust/NZ Ch Wongan Tatyana and the multi specialty class winning pair Ch Coranderrk True Blue and Ch Coranderrk Flame Tree. Her clever grandchildren include Ch Sonza Best Vintage CD, the multi BIG winner Ch Coranderrk Timeless, the BIG and Gundog Specialty RUBIS winning Ch Coranderrk Faith, the multi class in group and show winning Ch Wongan KD Lang, Ch Wongan Sarah Vaughan and Ch Coranderrk Wild One. The man of the house would claim that Veronica's greatest achievement is getting a cold beer from the fridge!!!
